I’m Edgar Hernández, founder of Istmo Adventure. I have spent more than five years in Panama tourism, welcoming travelers at the airport and guiding trips through the city, the rainforest and both coasts.

I have led groups of 50 to 70 people, entirely in English, with the same care I give a couple or a family. Coordinating schedules, vehicles and guides without the traveler noticing is what I do best.

Istmo Adventure was born from a simple idea: anyone visiting Panama should experience it with someone who knows every route, every island and every shortcut. I work with boat captains, communities, guides and hotels I know personally. That is why we reply fast, solve the unexpected and I only recommend what I would do myself.
